Tentang Dr. Emoto

molekulnya membentuk konfigurasi indah. Saat diperdengarkan kata
kasar, molekulnya amburadul.

?

===

Masaru Emoto, born July 22, 1943 in Yokohama, Japan, is best known for his
controversial claim that if human thoughts are directed at water before it
is frozen, images of the resulting water crystals will be beautiful or ugly
depending upon whether the thoughts were positive or negative. Emoto claims
this can be achieved through prayer, music or by attaching written words to
a container of water.

===
===

Since 1999 Emoto has published several volumes of a widely-selling book
titled Messages from Water, which contain photographs of water crystals next
to essays and "words of intent". The books have popularized "Hado theory"
and enabled Emoto to embark on a worldwide lecture circuit.

Emoto's claims are not taken seriously by scientists since Emoto has not
attempted to publish any of his disputed findings through peer review in
academic journals (other than a photo essay) and he has acknowledged that he
does not follow double blind procedures.

===

3. Hmmm, anak HI bicara tentang ilmu fisika .. menarik .. :p

===
Emoto graduated from Yokohama Municipal University with courses in
International Relations, and in 1992 he received certification as a Doctor
of Alternative Medicine from The Open International University for
Alternative Medicine in India. The Open University has minimal academic
requirements, amounting to five papers and one year residency

4. Apalagi kalau kita melihat bagaimana sekolahnya …

5. Wah, perusahaan keluarga nih …

===

Emoto established the International Hado Membership (I.H.M.) Corporation in
Tokyo in 1986, which he headed until 2005 when he designated Hirotsugu
Hazaka as his successor. He also established I.H.M. Trading Co. In 2004
Emoto set up a second photo lab in Liechtenstein, called Hado Life Europe.

He has three children and is married to Kazuko Emoto, head of Hado Education
Inc.

===
6. Yah, penelitiannya mau di test ulang, tiba tiba jadi gak respon

==

James Randi, founder of the James Randi Educational Foundation, has publicly
offered Emoto one million dollars if his results can be reproduced in a
double-blind study.[3] Emoto has not responded to the offer.

===

Aside from Emoto's assertion that thoughts can influence water, Emoto also
makes claims about the healing properties of water, especially the water
that he sells on his web site. No scientific evidence has been published
that supports Emoto's claim that, for example, "The client drinks the
special hado water that will deliver the necessary vibration and bring
balance and harmony to the diseased area. As the process is repeated more
and more, healing will occur within the client."

7. Counter terhadap tulisan Masaru Emoto

===

William A. Tiller's 2004 comment on Emoto appeared in the article "What the
Bleep do we Know!?: A Personal Narrative", in Vision in Action (VIA), volume
2, issues 3-4, pages 16-20.

Dr. William A. Tiller, another controversial researcher featured in the
movie What t?e Bleep Do ?? (k)?ow!?, has pointed out that Emoto's
experiments fall short of proof, since Emoto's experiments monitor the water
contaminants as well as the rate of cooling but neglect to measure or
control a third important factor involved in the supercooling of water.
